Lots of excitement here as we make finishing touches to the design of the Trabasack Max. The Max has been a design challenge in keeping the beanbag function and increasing the size but without making the bag too big and heavy for the lap. The new Max will be available initially in two styles. One with a smart grey trim and the other using genuine Harris Tweed from the hebridean Isle of Lewis.
The Harris Tweed has been sent to our factory to make a truly uniquely British design even more stylish and desirable. The initial run will be of only 50 featuring the Tweed so please do email us if you want to be one of the first people in the world to own one.
Our new website is launched! It has taken a long time to get the look that we wanted. The new shop has a multi-currency option for our overseas buyers and there are now options to pay directly by credit card for those who prefer not to use paypal. Feedback on the new site is appreciated. Let us know, either by email duncan {at} trabasack.co.uk or on twitter or facebook.
We will be attending the Young Epilespy Conference, to be held in Solihull in October. We are supporting this charity and conference as we have a family member with epilepsy. Please come if it is of interest and say 'Hello!'. Trabasacks will be available to purchase and try out for any guests to the event. UPDATE Unfortunately we will sadly not now be attending this event, due to personal circumstances.
Our other exciting news is that we are co-founding a new group of ethical and customer led businesses called the Kandu Group. A group of eight businesses have come together to form an ethical and 'peer-led' business network. We will keep you updated on our progress.
